Paradoxides makes a voyage to the island of Asperiche, in the Southern Seas, where he makes contact with the reclusive but mighty wizard Norgamos. Paradoxides pledges service and gives mighty gifts in return for potent healing of his body, severely weakened by his time in the Lands of Dust.
