Under Dingradur

Yspasdadden reviews his security arrangements for Dingradur.  As part of this Yspadadden and Ranulf go exploring their own basement.  Silden joins them.  They discover two waterlogged caverns, the second containing a vast underground lake. Using the spell Airy Water the dwarves march along the lakebed without the need to surface for air.  In the larger cavern they encounter some little elemental water spirits and spot a huge eel.  In a niche they discover what appears to be an ancient stone statuette of a goddess – probably human, possibly associated with fertility.  They leave it in situ.  Other than that there is little of note but they do establish that death from thirst seems unlikely should they find themselves beleaguered in Dingradur.  Disappointingly Ranulf does not discover any new seams of opals – or anything else worth mining.
